This is a great opportunity for Scouts to earn the First Aid merit badge and for both Scouts and adults to get CPR certified.
details:
- cost is $15 per participant. pay cash to Dr. there. there is no charge for adults who are just helping (not getting certified).
- bring your own bag lunch
- location: Dr.'s house, San Jose
- it is possible, but improbable, that something will arise and this gets postponed.
- If you are going for the Merit Badge, you need to do the following ahead of time:
- Read the [requirements]
- Read, understand, and be able to answer the parts of Req. 1.
- Bring your home First Aid Kit as in Req. 2d. Although some items are suggeested in the [pamphlet], the requirement states to prepare one for your home and does not require specific contents. The Scout must know the contents, though.
- Minimum 5, maximum 20
- Mr. A. will have the blue cards and CPR barriers
