Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 792's home page!

We are an active group of Boy Scouts based in Gilroy, California. If you're a member, come here often to see the calendar of upcoming events, links to online resources, and even to view pictures from outings! If you are interested in joining, or if you just want someone to contact you, click here. Suggestions and comments on this site are always welcome!

Planet Orange Fund Raiser!

Planet Orange has been kind enough to design a profit sharing program with Pack 794 and Troop 792. If you mention Gilroy Scouting, Cub Scout Pack 794, or Boy Scout Troop 792 while booking and paying for any of Planet Orange's property services, they will donate 5% of the job amount to our scouts! For more information on Planet Orange's services, go to planetorange.com. PlanetOrange.png

Flag Retirement Service

If you have an old flag that you would like to have retired, we can help. Check the Flag Retirement page for more details.

Geocaching

These are geocaches for Scouts and Scouters. When you find one, please sign the Log with your name, council, and unit number. There are several Scout items (mainly patches) in the caches. If you take an item from a Cache, please leave a Scout item in its place. You will need both a GPS and a compass to find these. To view the location of our caches [click here].

Web Site Designers Wanted

You may have noticed that the background of the web site looks a lot like the Wikipedia. That's because it's using the same web engine. However, it doesn't have to stay looking like Wikipedia - we can customize the "Skin" however we want. If you have any experience with HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), or developing logos or pictures using Photo Shop or Gimp, and would like to contribute, contact Glen Dinsmore.
