CampoutSPL

The Campout SPL is the SPL for a campout. This is usually the most senior Scout attending, but can be anyone at least First Class.

It is the responsibility of the Campout SPL to ensure the Campout Program happens. This might be very minimal, such as at Laguna Seca or a beach campout, or it might be quite involved, such as at Hi-Sierra or at a campout combined with Webelos or Venturers.

It is essential to coordinate with the [Cook] and the Tour Leader.

The Campout SPL might need assistants. These can be PLs or ASPLs. You should have one Asst. if there are 10 youth or less. If there are more than ten, have at least two Patrol Leaders (one per 6).
