Geocaches

Remember, these are geocaches for Scouts and Scouters. When you find one, please sign the Log with your name, council, and unit number. There are several Scout items (mainly patches) in the caches. If you take an item from a cache, please leave a Scout item in its place. You will need both a GPS and a compass to find these.

Sprig Lake cache

• The Cache is at the base of a crooked tree under a log at N37deg00.250' W121deg40.970'.
• Park at N37deg00.245' W121deg40.926'. Go 284 deg (on your compass).
• From N37deg00.257' W121deg40.972' it is uphill at 138 deg.
• From tree base at N37deg00.256' W121deg40.991' it's at 82 deg.

Grant Ranch cache

• Location is N37deg19.594' W121deg43.662'.
• Find large tree by trail.
• Back of tree half buried under log.

Mt. Madonna VV cache

• Location is N36deg59.900' W121deg42.012'.
• From N36deg59.925' W121deg42.005' go 170deg on the trail.
• At back base of tree under bark.
