Planning for your son's Eagle Scout Court of Honor.
This COH is for the Scout; although the Troop (and or Crew) is also involved, it is ultimately the responsibility of the Eagle and his family to arrange. As always, draw from the unit (Troop, Crew) resources.
In preparation,
- find a location that does not charge for its use. Set the date for when both (a) your most special guests and (b) said building are available.
- Send out invitations to family and friends and officials. Click [here] for a link of national dignitaries. For a list of State, County, and City officials, contact the Troop Committee.
- If you are going to have a reception and or an after party, be sure to request RSVP's in the invitations.
- Get people to commit ahead of time for each of the roles.
