As of November, 2022, we are an active group of about 20 Scouts based in Gilroy, California. Our meetings, some online, some in person (following covid safe practices) are on Tuesdays 7pm-8pm and we usually have one or more outings each month. Boys and Girls 6th grade to 12th grade can join at any time.  We are in the process of building a new website so there may be some outdated information and broken links. These are geocaches for Scouts and Scouters.  When you find one, please sign the Log with your name, council, and unit number.  There are several Scout items (mainly patches) in the caches.  If you take an item from a Cache, please leave a Scout item in its place.  You will need both a GPS and a compass to find these.  To view the location of our caches [[http://www.troop792.gilroyscouting.org/Geocaches click here]].

You may have noticed that the background of the web site looks a lot like [http://wikipedia.org the Wikipedia].  That's because it's using the same web engine.  However, it doesn't have to stay looking like Wikipedia - we can customize the "Skin" however we want.  If you have any experience with HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), or developing logos or pictures using Photo Shop or Gimp, and would like to contribute, contact [mailto:glen_dinsmore@yahoo.com Glen Dinsmore].
